I’m delighted to share that Sutton Courtenay Travel is now a member of Cruise Lines International Association better known as CLIA.

CLIA is the world’s largest cruise industry trade association and the official home of the cruise industry’s travel agent community. It brings together ocean, river and specialist cruise lines, alongside travel professionals from around the world.

What does my CLIA membership mean for you?

Becoming a CLIA member gives me access to specialist cruise training, industry events, cruise-line updates and a wealth of professional resources.

This will allow me to develop my cruise knowledge even further and stay informed about:

  • Different cruise lines and ships

  • Ocean, river and expedition cruising

  • New ships, routes and itineraries

  • Onboard facilities and experiences

  • Different cabin and suite options

  • Cruise destinations and ports

  • Which cruise experience is best suited to each traveller

With so many cruise lines, ships and itineraries available, finding the right cruise can feel overwhelming. A family looking for exciting activities and entertainment will want something very different from a couple seeking a smaller ship, an adults-only experience or a luxury river cruise.

My role is to look beyond the headline price and help you choose a cruise that genuinely suits you.

Continuing to invest in my knowledge

Travel is constantly changing, and I believe that being a good travel agent means continually learning.

My CLIA membership is another investment in my professional development and in the service I provide to my clients. Alongside formal training, I’ll continue attending ship visits, industry events and supplier sessions whenever possible so I can offer informed, honest and personalised recommendations.

Of course, no travel agent can personally sail on every ship. However, CLIA membership gives me greater access to the cruise industry, its cruise lines and its specialist knowledge helping me research and compare the options available to you.

Thinking about taking a cruise?

Whether you’re considering your first cruise or already know how much you love holidaying at sea, I can help with every stage of your plans.

From choosing the right cruise line, ship and itinerary to arranging flights, hotels, transfers and activities around your sailing, I can bring the entire trip together for you.

If you’re thinking about an ocean cruise, river cruise, expedition voyage or luxury sailing, please get in touch. I’d love to help you find the right cruise for your next adventure.
